Lady Cultura (Gabriella Lemus) was born on the 4th of July 1991.  In Miami, Florida to New York-Cuban parents Eva Tamargo and Michael Lemus. In 1999, 8 year old Cultura and her family moved to Los Angeles where her mother, Eva would persue a major acting career.

Raised in the San Fernando Valley, Cultura attened CHAMPS (Charter Highschool of the Arts Multimedia and Performing School) in Van Nuys California.  Where she discovered her love of the arts in every form.  Along with her academic studies, Cultura was also trained, tested, and graded on her artistic abilities.  Including dance, ballet, modern, tap, swing, jazz, African, and theater.  In her sophmore year Cultura became part of the school’s performing company “DiG Repertory.”  With whom she traveled to NYC with and was featured in an off broadway play entitled, “Myspace Chronicles.”

Upon graduation in 2009 Cultura began her shift into the music world.  In 2010 Cultura established her distinguished sound.  A mixture of Reggaeton, House, and Vogue elements.


In 2012 Cultura wrote, directed, and starred in “BIGOTE.”  A play that is loosely based around her life growing up as a lesbian with a Catholic mother.  Cultura’s cast included Eva Tamargo (NBC), Chelsea Tavares (Nickelodeon, ABC), Raven Goodwin (MTV, Disney Channel), and Kumari Suraj (SYTYCD).  Upon meeting Kumari (Los Angeles Waacker) in 2012, Cultura began intensive training and was soon addicted to the freestyle culture.  Since then she has competed in several battles across the globe. Cultura and Suraj won HIP HOP INTERNATIONAL (Thailand).  In the All Styles category in 2014.  In that same year, Cultura traveled across the globe to China, Hong Kong, London, Scotland, and Spain.  To teach and choreograph professionally in her many different sytles.  Of dance, Waacking, House, Hip Hop, Vogue and Dancehall.

Lady Cultura currently lives in Los Angeles pursuing all of her trades.  Music, dance, theatre, film, and tv.  She teaches at the prestigious, “Debbie Reynold’s Dance Studio,” in North Hollywood. Cultura has been recently featured in Mat Kearney’s new music video “Heartbeat,” and is working on her debut EP.
