PureHeatAtlantaPrideWeekend and the Pure Heat Atlanta Pride organizers are part of the largest pride weekend in the USA! Aug 30th- Sept 4th 2017 !  This year celebrating Atlanta Black Pride Weekend 10 year Anniversary. Pure Heat Atlanta Black Pride is a dynamic opportunity to showcase the diversity and uniqueness of the LGBT community.  The 6-day long holiday weekend will also feature the 6th annual Pure Heat Community Festival, which takes place on Sunday, Sept. 4th from 12pm8pm at the historic Piedmont Park.

The Pure Heat Community Festival

The Pure Heat Community Festival is a cultural event that will highlight food vendors, live performances, entertainment, educational forums, prizes & giveaways.  All of which brings together the spirit of community, pride and vision.  The Pure Heat Community Festival also offers an opportunity to bring awareness to a community impacted by HIV/AIDS. Which advocate campaigns towards human rights, education, health & wellness, and homelessness, which greatly impacts the LGBTQ community at large.  The Pure Heat Community Festival is a front seat into a spectacular gathering of minority LGBTQ people and their allies in the heart of Atlanta. Pure Heat  Community Festival showcases the different meaning of pride with unity.  As we celebrate a unifying force that provides the resources to promote and accomplish goals in human rights, education, outreach and a better understanding within our community.  With people from ALL walks of life, we bring together the skills, talents and vision with  innovation through the production of the annual  Pure Heat Community Festival. Composed of volunteers committed to bringing awareness of a diverse community impacted by  HIV/AIDS, Environment Protection,  Youth Mentor ship, Education & Career Advancement, Women’s Health & Wellness,  and Homelessness.

Pure Heat Atlanta Labor Day Pride Weekend relies on hundreds of volunteers to produce a successful festival. It is from the efforts of people giving their time freely that Pure Heat Atlanta Labor Day Pride Weekend has produced one of the largest and minority Pride festivals and celebrations in the Nation. Pure Heat depends on the community’s participation to happen and we really welcome your help.  Please join us and be apart of a historic festival.
