Quality Over Quantity Artists

Temper will be hitting the stage for the Quality Over Quantity Tour.  Hailing from Chicago’s “Wild Huneds” and is the hottest female rapper alive! She is one of ten children and has been making music since the age of nine.  Temper is as real as it gets.  Any explanations about her is embodied in her music.  She has style, swagger and talent that is unmatched by any other female artists EVER.  Unlike many other female rappers whose fan base mostly consists of women, Temper is loved by men and women alike.  Her music appeals to street hustlers, housewives, college students and those with nine to fives.  In short, there is no limit to her fan base.

Temper has the unique ability to merge commercially-appealing music with amazing lyrical prowess without being overbearing.  Her stage performance is immaculate and has garnered her the opportunity to open for acts such as J. Holiday, Talib Kweli, Soulja Boy, Sammie, Keith Murray, B2K and Crucial Conflict.  Temper’s talent is widely recognized and she is quickly making a lasting imprint on the music scene in Chicago.  She won an Artesian Production rap contest and ranked #1 out of 200 contestants with only three of those being female rappers.  Temper also landed her first acting gig as a main character in the movie “If I Was Your Girl,” which has almost two million views on YouTube.  She wrote every song featured in the movie.  Temper is a rap icon in the making, ready to take the world by storm!

The saying “different as day and night” is the perfect statement to compare the members of the up and coming hip-hop duo GIMINI. With the soothing, laid back and confident style of T.Stewie, born Tiffany Stewart,

intertwined with the energetic, bold and in your face feistiness of Ashley Badon, better known as Noonie B, the outcome is a cohesive, eclectic combination of hip-hop, soul, pop, and R&B.

Although the New Orleans-based duo may seem to have just sprung up out of nowhere into the public eye, their musical career together is seven years in the making. Once T. Stewie realized her passion for hip-hop and its lack of diversity, she decided to jump start her career in the industry. After hearing the raw talent that Noonie B possessed, it became evident to T. Stewie that the two styles meshed together would create a refreshingly unique sound that would be sure to capture the attention of the masses.

Opting against waiting for the backing of a major record label to help spread their music, the motivated duo decided to bring to life their entertainment company, Fly-N-Flashy… It’s a Way of Life Entertainment. Through the enterprise, GIMINI solely pushed their music by showcasing their artistry via local talent competitions, various club-hosted amateur shows, and the internet. The amount of positive feedback was so abundant that, not only did they land a few appearances in several local commercials but they also a made cameo appearance on WE television series  LA Hair.

Determined to blaze the trail on the path to becoming a household name, GIMINI packed their belongings and headed straight for the Golden State of California, where they are currently residing.

With influences like timeless hip-hop gurus such as Notorious BIG, Missy Elliot, Da Brat, Bob Marley, PNC and even the soulful stylings of Sadé and Lauren Hill, they are sure to reach their goal to supply a breath of fresh air to an industry of monotony and gimmicks with diversity, ingenuity and an ability to cultivate comfortability with one’s self.

Born Ricarla Holloway in Newport News, VA, Jeda Sky came into this world unexpectedly.  Like many of today’s youth, she experienced moving to various housing projects and schools.  Not understanding all of the constant changes, and even more confused on how to express herself, she wrote poetry and short stories to let her emotions run free.  At the age of 14, she wrote her first song and has been in a committed relationship with music ever since. She joined several rap groups, mostly all male, and had to prove herself lyrically.  Jeda became a solo artist and started heavily performing at open mics, festivals, and celebrity events.  Jeda fell in love with music and performing, “It’s like a drug that I can’t get enough of.  This is what I was made for.”

In the summer of 2011, Jeda moved to Atlanta, GA to pursue her career.  Since that time, her single “Whyte Gurl” was placed on the soundtrack for the movie “Gang of Roses 2:  Next Generation.”  She also received the opportunity to open for Meek Mill and Gucci Mane at the Miami Convention Center for the Sex on the Beach Expo.

Jeda also used her creativity to write and produce the web series, “Mainstream Flawed.”  The self-funded project starred her as the main character, an artist struggling with the acceptance of her peers while trying to break into a male-dominated industry.

Jeda Sky will soon release her debut album entitled “From Her 2 Me,” featuring her single, “Lift Off.” She is currently being sought after nationally for upcoming shows and gaining momentum rapidly, being recognized for her songwriting, acting skills, and unique flow.  Watch out for Jeda Sky, she will soon be a household name.
