Celebrate Pride In Africa
Rainbow Friendly Festival Africa is a queer powered event celebrating the global queer culture with a 21st century twist. Set to take place November 10th-15th in Cape Town Africa. RFF has a fantastic DJ lineup, live performances and vendors selling food, clothes, sexy gadgets and more. RFF especially stands out because of it’s focus on the holistic wellbeing of the local LGBTQ community and it’s allies.
Rainbow Health Awareness Week
Their International host for this years festival is Carter the Body, coming all the way from Los An gales, California. Experience the opportunity of being personally trained by Carter. Helping you break a sweat and toning those abs at the Pole Project. This event will be filled with exciting activities and awareness programs as part of Rainbow Health Awareness Week. RFF Africa will also be hosting a workshop on November 13th. With guest speaker and mental health activist Phumlani Kango from Johannesburg, South Africa. Where she will be discussing mental health in the LGBTQ community and this workshop is absolutely free.
RFF 2019 Events
Most of the events that form RFF Africa are free and the festival hopes to touch on subjects that are sometimes regarded as taboo. Keeping the focus on mental wellbeing RFF Africa will take advantage of endorphins physical activity releases. With a hike up one of Cape Town’s most popular outdoor spots, Lions Head on November 13th.
On November 14th you are cordially invited to attend a private dinner hosted and prepared by Chef Cola, Nicola Kagaro. The founder and creator of Rainbow Friendly Festival Africa. Drop by Mile and Honey on Long Street to see what the African Vegan On A Budget will be serving. The tasty event is also free to everyone.
